I want to post a new topic on Ebay Outlook, asking for ID on a china mark. I have the picture in my image hosting; it's not yet in an auction. Once, months ago, I did this. Now I can't seem to!
What do I do first, second, third? Do I copy the "codes or whatever they are" for my picture, then go to E O and start a new topic and paste the picture information there? Seems like that is what I did before.
This time I cannot seem to maneuver my way down to that box I got to which contained gobbledygook code for my picture.
Please tell me what to do! And I'll have it tatooed on my wrist tomorrow. Thanks.

Hi roadsmith,
To obtain the code which contains a link to your image, first go to your Image Hosting page within Auction Manager. From there, check the box next to each image that you wish to attach to your auction. On the bottom of the page, click the "attach" button. Verify the image and click on "continue". On the next page, copy and paste the entire block of HTML which includes your image URL as well as our banner (a requirement) into the area you want the image to appear.

Brian: Thank you. Your solution works beautifully for attaching to an auction. But my problem was that I wanted to attach the hosted picture to a Message Center thread for identification of a china pattern. Following the suggestions above gets me only to the point where I've clicked on "Continue." Then I get a message that I haven't indicated which auction I want to attach the picture to!
A friend at EO helped me figure out another way to do this successfully in a thread. (There are always at least 2 ways to do everything on computers, right?!) Anyway, I appreciate your prompt response to my question. Have a nice weekend. ~Adele
