The Cosmic Retro template is nice but because of where the title is placed it is all chopped up so that it fits. Can that be fixed?

Hi mantczak,

What resolution is your monitor set at? Which auction are you using this template, and what is the title? The title may be too long and because of your resolution it is making it chopped.

It's in my pending auctions right now. A video called Drowning Mona if you want to take a look. The title is DROWNING MONA Bette Midler Danny DeVito VHS but it makes it a 3 line title because of the layout.

Hi Mantczak,

The image layout you have chosen requires at least a 1024x768 layout to be viewed properly. I imagine you are at 800x600 or even less.

Yes, that is what mine is set at. I am not a computer person so that must be the default settings. How do I know if it is okay to change it?

Hi Mantczak,

You can change your screen resolution at any time. Increasing it will make everything appear a little smaller but for auctions like the one you mentioned, you will be able to view it as it should look. Do you need directions on how to change your resolution?

I still say there is something not right about the Cosmic template. I selected a layout with a recommended resolution of 800 x 600 (which I think is pretty standard and the default setting which most computer users probably never change) and the template still comes out too wide and the heading splits onto two lines. This does not happen on any of the other templates I use (almost all the same layout).

Check out the last item in my pending list (Pyrex Turquoise Casserole) and you'll see what I mean.

Hi Nothingyouneed,

I checked the listing you referenced and didn't see anything wrong with it. The heading does not appear to be split. Are you viewing it with your browser maximized?

Not trying to beat a dead horse, but I have looked at this listing (it's live now) in Netscape and IE, at two different computers, asked friends to tell me how it looks, etc. and everything says it isn't quite right. The heading is still split and the template is too wide for the standard resolution screen.

We had this problem in the last template roll out with the Air Force template and engineering did something to fix that problem.

It's not a HUGE problem...just a minor annoyance!

Hi nothingyouneed,

I have viewed this auction at 800x600 and understand what you are saying. This auction template works best for those using a reolution of 1024x768 or higher.
