Hi,
I had changed my image size to allow bigger images, but they are now too big. I hate to be a pain, but the auctions that are pending - will they now have the large pics even though I just changed my preferences back?
Is there any way you can make sure the auctions that launch tonight go up with the smaller images? I changed the global preference setting but they are still showing up huge.
Thanks

Hi touchofeurope,
You will need to unschedule the auction and save it with the change in global preferences before you launch it again.
To unschedule the auction, click on the title and click on Undo Launch.

Hi Brian,
There is no way I have time to unschedule and reschedule 200 auctions! On top of it all when doing that from the website there are less timing options since I schedule batches of 10 about 5 minutes apart.
Is there any way AW can do something for me here? I would appreciate the help - I cannot do this manually and I want to keep the times I have scheduled. Surely there is a way to do something from there?

Hi touchofeurope,
Are you using AMPro? If so, you can re-upload the batch from AMPro and it will reset the preferences for these auctions. Make sure that you first delete the auctions that you have scheduled. You can unschedule them all at once from the pending auction screen.

Brian,
I am on a slower connection today and won't be near a T-1 line till tomorrow. My auctions launch tonight. Because I have about 12,000 pics up now, I know for sure I will get 'timed out' and won't be able to re-launch. If I delete my auctions now,I won't be able to get them back.
I am willing to give it a try, but can you guys somehow put my currently scheduled ones somewhere as a backup in case I can't upload? I am seriously doubting I can since the speed of the connection I have here is only about 300 or some kb - the number of pictures I uploaded last night will cause problems. I absolutely can't get to a faster connection till tomorrow morning and that's too late.
Help!!!!!!!!!

Hi touchofeurope,
Don't delete the auctions, just unschedule them. That will keep them safe while you re-upload the batch from AMPro. The images aren't already in AMPro? If they are already in AMPro and uploaded the only thing it will need to synchronize is the batch.

That kind of defeats the purpose since I have to unschedule each one manually!!!!!!!!! I can't believe there is no easier way to do this without such a huge hassle. I have 200 scheduled and I don't want to go through this.
When I try to synchronise a batch only it still compares images and then times me out. I have sent numerous emails and postings about this, and apparently it's a problem with the number of images we have. Only synching the batch DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!
The first thing the system does is compare images and that's where I get an error message every time. It's getting to the point where I have to cross my fingers every time I try to upload. Very frustrating.
Now I have to deal with this because changing my preferences cannot be made to apply automatically to stuff that is pending - this is not a good system.
Is there anything constructive AW can do to help me? I do not want to unschedule manually, then I might as well go ahead and reschedule and I won't have the timing functionality I have in the templates.
I WILL be timed out, I know that for sure.
No what?

Hi touchofeurope,
That is right, I forgot about the images. I will send an email out to engineering, but I doubt anything can be done before the auctions are scheduled to launch.
You can unschedule in bulk by going to the Pending Auction screen, checking the box next to the auctions, and clicking on cancel.

Won't that delete them all? I thought that would cancel the whole thing and make them disappear?
I really can't face this. I wish there was a way to change those preferences without all this hassle.
You should ask whoever is in charge of this to make it easier to implement such a change in bulk.
Thanks

Hi touchofeurope,
The cancel button will only cancel the auctions. The delete button will delete them. I have sent a message to engineering and am waiting to hear back.

Hi Brian
I just emailed the batch, I had not been checking email often enough, sorry I saw it so late.
I have not deleted the batch scheduled to be sure I would have something launch.
If you do synch and relaunch for me, could you then also cance the first batch first? Otherwise I am going to have a huge mess on my hands and 200 duplicate auctions.
Thanks and sorry I saw this so late.

Hi Mimi,
From the time of your post, you must have sent that batch to Brian a few minutes after he left for the day and barely before all of your auctions were scheduled to launch.
Sorry we were unable to communicate back and forth quick enough to even attempt the workaround Brian was going to try and perform for you.
