In the "Help" for Combining items, you state:
Tip
----------------------------
You don't need to have 'shopping carts' enabled, or a storefront, to manually combine items. You do need shopping carts enabled for orders of multiple items to be automatically created when buyers checkout.
What does the last part of that last sentence mean?
Isn't "checkout" an eBay function, not an AW function - or are you only applying this to storefronts?
Combining items may be achived by:
- sellers, by simply going to the Combinable Items view in left nav, checking the items and clicking on Combine button. This is called 'seller side combine'. or by
- buyers while responding to WBN. In this case, the seller must have 'cart enabled', otherwise, the buyer will see in his 'cart' only the item for which he responds to WBN. If cart is enabled by seller, buyer may see in the cart also other items bought from the same seller and for which the buyer did not respond to WBN.
