I have a great idea. This would help me a lot.

If you could make the identifiers (you know...like %%AuctionId%%) work on the checkout pages, then I could create a payment option that takes a buyer to a auction-specific, prefilled Paypal page.

Look at my test auction #1713292604 to see what I mean. Instead of selecting PAYPAL as a payment option I selected OTHER and typed in the following:

<a href="https://www.paypal.com/xclick-auction/business=A9BBW3E63GJ8A&auction_type=Ebay&jitem_id=%%AuctionId%%&jmagic=1">Paypal</a>

(That code comes from Paypal's manual smart logo)

I am happy to report that this worked perfectly! Except that the checkout pages don't support the identifier %%AuctionId%%. If it did, the buyer could click on the word Paypal and it would go to an auction-specific pay page.

This would make it so-o-o much simpler for the user. Please take a look at it and tell me what you think at:
