I would like to know why on NUMEROUS occassions I've used the post sales search engine to pull an auction item using the auction number. I click on auction ID and put in the number, and it comes up with no matches. I know the number is correct, because I've copied and pasted it directly off of eBay. This has happened A LOT, but I just never took the time to ask. So here I am ASKING!!! If you'd like to take a look at one example, since it just happened it's Item no. 1078809172

I used to have this problem also until I realized when I cut and pasted the number, there was a "blank" space after the final digit of the ID #. Search must match EXACTLY - and the blank space was causing a "no matches found" error message. Now, after I paste the number, I just hit backspace and it finds it find. A pain to do, but it works.
