In checkout the only option available for insurance is $2.00 for the first $100.00. When I ship USPS - the charge is $1.10 for the first $50.00. How can I get this to come across correctly. My bidders get the WBN that shows $2.00 for insurance and I have $1.10 listed in my auction - so it causes me unneeded emails back and forth - besides it makes me look foolish. Please advise me how to correct this.

Hi Corksmom,
Unfortunately there is currently no way to break it down by $50 increments so you would need to explain your insurance terms in your item description so that it causes less emails back and forth.

Well, that is my point. I do explain my insurance fees in my description - $1.10 for up to $50.00. Then they get my AW checkout and it shows $2.00. For example, I had an auction end last night for 23.50 - in the description I had shipping amount plus insurance of $1.10. They got my WBN and the insurance is $2.00. So they emailed me questioning why I am charging them $2.00 when I said I would charge $1.10 - that they have never had to pay $2.00 to insure something that was 25.00 yada yada yada.
So, I have 2 solutions here - continue to use AW and get accused of gouging my customers on insurance charges or discontinue using AW.
Why can't you go in and change the program to work? Does anyone there actually ever use the program and have a clue what insurance costs? Obviously not or they would not have put $2.00 for the first $100. I know I am not the only one who has asked about this - I have seen it here before.
You make me look very unprofessional!!! I use AW to try to achieve the exact opposite.
Please let me know if this is going to be changed or not. Do not tell me that you will log it for review - as that obviously gets nowhere. My business depends on this being corrected ASAP!!!!!!

UMMMM - an answer to this is needed right away - I have 55 auctions to launch tonight and if I can't get a reasonable answer I might have to pull them....Please respond
While we have forwarded your notes on this issue along to engineering, we do not have an ETA as of this moment as to when/if such a change would be made. Rest assured, we do hope to come up with a workable solution to this issue and will post back to the most recent thread on this issue (or simply make an announcement) if we are able to create/test/release files that address this.
Nothing will be ready by the time you list your auctions this evening though.

Thanks Christopher!!
I appreciate the honest and straight forward answer.
Nothing burns me more then seeing the we have logged it answer or the you need to explain it in your auctions answer. If Sonya is correct and I need to explain it in my auctions - then I would have to say that I charge 1.10 for insurance, but because my auction service isn't up to par, the form you will receive will say 2.00. Please click on the 2.00, but when you pay make sure to deduct .90 from your order.
See what a silly answer I got to my question to begin with!!!!
