A friend of mine and I both sell on ebay we live only a few miles apart is it alright to put in your auctions "Please view (my friends seller name)auctions and we will combine auctions to save you on shipping cost.
There are no rules on eBay as far as linking to other eBay sellers auctions are concerned. You should be able to do so without worrying about violating eBay policy. The only rules are usually about linking to sites other than eBay that allow you to purchase items.

However, you will not be able to combine items from different sellers into the same order using AW services. At AW you may only combine 'owned' listings (i.e. launched by one seller, the one who wants to combine them).
