We have been having a problem with our editing program. Every now and then the editing we do does not stick. And if it uploads we have to hunt it down, delete, sign off, re-edit, sign on, and re-upload. Is there some way we can set our aw site simply not to upload any pic over the size limit? Dale
If you try to upload something over 350 Kb in file size, it will not let you. Anything else under that, it will try to upload. How big are these images?

The pics are over 350Kb in size. AW has always let these upload, as long as we have been using the service. And then we need to go through the whole procedure we outlined. We have almost never had an over 350Kb pic refused. And we really would like for this to happen. Have other people had this problem? Dale

Just went through this whole messy process agian. Had two images where editing did not stick and they uploaded. Could we please have some help on this? Over size images do upload, and cause big problems. Dale
Are you *sure* you have uploaded an image that was over 350k in size? The system should always stop you, not to mention you really wouldnt want that big of an image in your listing as it would drive away anyone with a non-high speed connection from viewing your listings.
Adobe has this great free image editing tool you can use to scale down the size a little if you are over the limit :

Yes, the image was over 350. And no the system did not stop it from uploading. Every now and then our editing does not stick and an image over 350 uploads. And as we have said before, the system takes it anyway. We don't want the large images. We edit but it doesn't always take. Don't know why. And for some reason we were cut off from notification of your response. This happens to us occasionally and is a pain.

We use Iview, have had several generations of it over the years. It works very well, especially for silverware which we grayscale. From scans, we always have to reduce in size. From photos, we usually don't. And we have every now and then a scan where the editing does not stick. This would not be a major problem except AW keeps uploading the over 350k pics. And that is a major pain. If AW just refused them, we would be very happy. We had one that was 950k upload once. This does not happen often, maybe one pic in 200, but when it does it is major problems. And only once has AW refused to upload an oversize pic. Dale
