In the second week of May, AuctionWatch will release a highly requested feature: Sales Data Archive. This feature will allow you to manually archive post sale data, as well as create default rules to auto-archive data older than a certain date. Archived data will always be available for download into a spreadsheet or word processor, but will not be displayed in your closed auctions.
This feature will be available in the second week of May. Upon release, all post sale data older than 12 weeks (based on the sale date of the item) will be regularly auto-archived. Once the feature is released, you will have the ability to shorten the auto-archive period, if you want to clear your Post Sale Management interface more frequently. We will announce the precise release date within the next week.

I am not happy about what you are doing to my data base. It sounds like you are eliminating my ability to search the entire database that I have built up since I registered. I use the seach function extensively and I do not want to see the database truncated by your change. This should be something that is optional for those who want it and you should leave things the way they are for those of us who don't want this change.

Yes, I am another that is feeling a bit shaky about this change. Please make sure that we can SEARCH these archives like we can search closed auctions. I know how you guys tend to forget little things like that when you're re-doing stuff that his working just great. Along these lines, WHEN are you going to make it so we can SEARCH for items that closed without bids? I've been waiting for THAT feature forever now.
