I am not a member of BidPay but I think I saw a link on a closed auction awhile back. I am not sure how it works and I'm not sure I even like it being there??
Well now it has caused me a big problem - I had a combined auction buyer use the link but the numbers were not the same, so I ask Bidpay to verify. Now they are going to stop payment as it did not match ebay's numbers - or at least I THINK they are going to stop payment - all this would not be a big deal but I am heading out of town and won't have a computer to see if they stopped payment or not?? This is a hassle for me and now the buyer.
Is there anyway to remove this link?? Buyer think I am a member and want me to ship before I get the payment and I really don't like that. If I wanted to join BidPay I would have done soon my own.
Now if I don't hear back in the next 2 hours I have no option but to lug the big box with me on vacation and then drive 30 miles to the nearest library to check my #%$^& email.

Hi Ladyjewels2000,
I checked your preferences and the BidPay banner link is checked. If you log into your account and go to Global Preferences, you can deselect this option -- it is under Traditional Methods as a subdivision of Money Order.

I have not been in my perferences in months - so I have no idea how this got checked. I am 99% sure that I didn't do it??
Anyway I deleted it so hopefully it won't happen again.

I had the same thing happen right after the switchover to the new PSM. Fortunately I discovered it before someone wanted to use it. I suspect some sort of gremlin. All would do well to check and make sure this option isn't activated if they don't want it.

I was afraid I had lost it there for awhile.
This is something a seller will not see everyday unless they are looking for it - so everyone should check.
Anyway it all turned out ok and the guys stuff is on the way.
