To disable the click to enlarge feature, follow these steps:
-Click on the "My Account" tab.
-Click on the "Global Preference" link.
-Uncheck the box for "Automatically scale down large images for faster download and cleaner presentation".
-Click on the "save preferences" link.

I was wondering if there is any way to disable to resizing of a pic on a individual listing basis. Although I usually have several pics and want them downsized for display in the listing, when I only have one pic I would rather have it show up full size.
Maybe AW could have some of its templates configured for one full size pic at top.
Currently, there is no way to only use the downsizing images option on individual listings but we will forward along your comments as a suggestion to add such a feature to a future update.

A few of us have been requesting the spec to be on a listing basis for some time. I sure hope this could be elevated a bit in the priorities. It just isn't logical for this to be a global spec.
