I was listing using AW, and attaching the images while filling out all the info in my form (using a profile I have set up. Everything as usual. I usually go to Ebay and check the listing after it comes up. I was doing this , and everything was fine. Ten the last two auctions I had listed were missing their images. (no red boxes, just not there) I hit back, double ckd that it was in the preview, it was. I found a new way? on AW to attach images to exhisting auctions, by checking the box next to the image, hitting 'add', entering the exhistinf auction no. But still no images. This is really strange, and I really need help now.
My user ID on Ebay is 1crow
(trying not to freak out) Jen

Hi Jen,

When you attach images via the Image Hosting tab, if it says they were added, you should be able to view them there now. Try refreshing the page a few times, to make sure they haven't already been loaded before you try to attach again. (just to make sure you dont end up with them showing in duplicate)

It said they were added successfully, but they are not there. It's been several hours, and countless refreshes. I would just cancel these auctions, and re-list, but the images showed during the preview...so obviously that was not proof it was going to work. I normally use the 'create listing' tab under 'sales manager', to launch auctions w/ images at the same time. Is selecting the image, under 'image hosting', then choosing 'attach' and 'new auction' a new, or better way to do it?? I'm not familiar with this way. (I ran across it trying to get this mess solved)
Needing to resolve this, Jen

Hi Jen,

Instead of selecting 'new auction' try selecting 'existing auction'. You will then be prompted to enter in the auction ID number. If you can't get them attached let me know.

Thanks for your reply Sonja. I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I was saying two things. Asking if I should be using the 'add images to new auction' way to list my new auctions in the future. ALSO...I have tried to 'add image to exhisting auction' using the form and the current item number on the two auctions w/o images. I tried both yesterday, and today. They are still are not there. (and it said they were added. I really need to get this resolved. The auctions that accepted the images are getting bids, and these are not. Tahnks, Jen

Hi Jen,

Try pasting the URL to the images in eBay's Revise Auction form directly. To obtain the code which contains a link to your image, first go to your Image Hosting page. From there, check the box next to each image that you wish to attach to your auction. On the bottom of the page, click the "attach" button. Verify the image and click on "continue". On the next page, copy and paste the entire block of HTML which includes your image URL as well as our banner (a requirement) into the description box of the auction listing form.
