I have been getting payments sent to the mailstep paypal id that aren't "read" by AW and there are others that work just fine, but I woudl say that about 2/3's don't actually work. Am I doing something wrong?

We are aware that a small percentage of PayPal payments are not being automatically recorded in Post Sale. We have investigated this issue, and have found that the reason that some payments are not being recorded is that the buyer has not filled in the auction information when making their payment. If your buyer does not supply this information, our system will be unable to track the payment.
Do you notice any commonalities in the paypal notification in those that recorded correctly, and in those that didn't record correctly? If so please let us know.

Thanks for the response Sonya! All the the payments that have the words "Notification of an Instant Purchase Payment Received" in the subject line do not get recorded as paid in the Post Sale, even if the user has done everything properly. The payments that have "Jane Doe has just sent you $ with PayPal" in the subject line do get recorded, if that is, the auction information is filled out.
