Hi Jewljack,

I will log your suggestion for product development. In the meantime, if you put text in the tax field on Post Sale Management Options on what to put in the pull down based on the state, you should be able to bypass most problems.

Hello,
In fact we do have a note on what to do it is even capatolized but is as if it is not even there , this should be a automatic function , to have an unsupported workaround is silly.

Oh Boy... I can see I'm gonna have problems here regarding tax.

Just got my business license in the state of Washington - I have been told to collect State and Local taxes for Washington residents at the rate of 0.082

Do I instruct the customer to type in the 0.082 as the tax rate? or is it restricted to two digits to the right of the decimal?

I have to say, this should be explicitely explained by AW for the sellers AND the buyers.

I just spent 30 minutes on the AW site trying to locate where in my Seller and Personal Preferences I should put this info. The ONLY place I have found it so far is in my AMPro Preferences... and STILL no explanation on what to put in regarding decimal place format.

I need help on this...please!!

What is a 0.82% of a cent sales tax, an eighty-seconth of a penny.

Actually it is 0.082 and I think that is a multiplier. I really don't know.

I do know that the local tax here is a little over 8 cents on the dollar; so my guess is that it is 8.2 cents on the dollar.

Just don't know how the AW calculator figures taxes or what numbers to advise the customer since I can't locate it anywhere!

(Guess that would be eighty two thousands of a penny as read for 0.082) <grin>

Hi Greg,

If you go to your My Account tab and click on Post Sale Management Options, you will see a tax field box amongst the WBN boxes there. You can place your tax amount there and instruct winners what to select when filling out the WBN.
