Hi,
I have an Inventory with about 50 items in it. I've decided to use Paypal for my EOA notice and use AW for multiple buyers to Combine the lots and make a notice for all the lots at once... I would like to update my inventory to stop sending EOA notice on those auctoins. I go to an inventory item and click on the checked box on EOA notice and then try to save and it will not save (I click the icon, but nothing happens). Same thing if I want to increase the number of an item in Inventory. The inventory says I have one, I want it to say I have 20... I update the number, click the icon for save, and nothing happens. I am using a mac. When I use my PC at home, I do not have these problems.

Hi Dejapooh,
What browser are you using? The fact that you are on a Mac shouldn't interfere with this process.

Hi Dejapooh,
Has this always happened? Try running nothing but your browser and see if that improves things. You may also want to clear out your cache.

I usually only run IE... How do you empty the cache?

Dejapooh, hit Tools>Internet Options>in Temporary Internet files, hit Delete, then OK when it's done.

Hi Dejapooh,
Tools is on your IE browser. You should have it there regardless of your computer system.

Ok,
I've emptied my Cache, I've updated my IE to 5.1.4, I've even dumped my cookies, Still the same problem. I've tried to use Netscape and it will allow me to make the updates, but if I go to Edit ebay to change the number of days for the auction my machine crashes... I am going to check apple next to see if there is a new OS version... Any other suggestions?

I am currently running 9.2.2 which is the most up to date mac os I can run (without updating to OS X).

Hi dejapooh,
I will have to consult with an engineer to see if we can replicate the problem from here under the same configuration that you are using. I will let you know what I find out. Thank you for your patience.

I was able to make all of the changes I needed to on my PC at home, but I would still like to work out this problem. THanks.

We tested on Mac IE5.1 and OS X, and could *not* replicate the problem you've described. We're attempting to test on Mac OS 9 as well, to see if that makes any difference. In the meantime, I'd suggest using Netscape, if indeed that does work for you on your Mac.

I can make some updates using netscape, but when I try to edit my ebay page (to change the number of days the auction is listed for), the computer crashes and I have to restart.
