How can you tell on your active listing if the WBN is turned on or off.
Also - why can't I edit all at the same time if I want them to all to say the same thing. Like now I just found out we'll be out of town on the 3rd when some of these end and I want to put that in the WBN on just those auction.

Hi Ladyjewels2000,
Click on the Active link on the left hand side, in the Display Options box (you need to be in Sales Manager). Select all of your auctions and hit the Set WBN button. You will then see on the following page, an auto WBN column and it will say either On or Off for each auction -- signifying whether or not the auto WBN is on.
On that same page, you can edit the WBNs for the auctions that you want to say you'll be out of town when they end. Unfortunately you have to do these individually. Select the auction and hit Edit WBN and then go ahead and edit the appropriate messaging.

Next question - Once the auction has started is there any way to chance the shipping amount? I don't think the online edit will do it?

Hi Ladyjewels2000,
If you are referring to the shipping amount that goes out with the WBN -- you can do it the same way I described above. If you have shipping specified in your auction you would of course, have to use eBay's revise auction form to change that wording.
