Not too sure where to post this since Mailstep isnt a category on these forums..

Nonetheless,

Can someone advise me to whether or not this situation will work?

I own a domain and my email service allows mail forwarding.

I understand how normally it would be necessary to set up 2 email addresses in Paypal to use Mailstep but I don't want or like that solution....

Is it possible to do the following:

Set up one email address in paypal - we'll call it: [email protected]

That email address is autoforwarded to the following location: [email protected]

I then of course have the mail sent to my normal email address that I registered with Auction Watch.

It is basically the same thing with the exception that paypal will send mail to my forwarder first then to mailstep and then to my normal account.

This would also give a more professional look as I am keeping all my customer coorespondence under my own domain name.

Hi Gemoverstock,

It should work -- you may want to test email yourself to your [email protected] email address once you set it all up, to make sure you are receiving your emails. Let us know if you need more help with it.
