Hi Dave, I did your checkout and wish to include shipping insurance, and to pay by Billpoint but I believe you need to send me an invoice. If I just follow the link to Billpoint, it says I don't have any transactions.

I sent a billpoint invoice already. I have had a number of complaints that billpoint cannot find the transaction when the link from checkout is used. Fortunately not that many use billpoint and with eBays aquisistion of PayPal it will become a moot issue. I find checkout works well when it works but many of my customers find it too complicated. I realize that they are barely computer literate and never seek help for that issue. There are however compatibility problems with certain browsers etc. Here is a typical email to that issue:

It's hard to determine if there is a technical issue here or if the user is not up to speed. Part of the problem is the use of cookies instead of a cgi utilizing a scripting language. This reduces the amount of resources needed but unfortunately relies on the users computer and assumes compatibility.
I've taken to using as many work arounds as I can devise as I really don't have the time needed to deal with AW's ability to solve problems quickly evidenced by the ongoing picture server issues etc.
