I'm trying to revise default text at the end of my listings to reflect insurance / shipping increases etc. but when I click submit, I get a script error message every time and am unable to enter my changes.
Something about, unexpected "".

Anyway I need to update ASAP or take a loss on insurance costs.
Would it be something to do with not having cookies enabled? After getting KLez about 10 times per week this month, I'm reluctant to do anything to diminish my NAV protection.

Thanks, uglimouse

Hello,

Not accepting cookies shouldn't have anything to do with it, but you may want to try enabling them long enough to test it.

I checked, but was unable to locate any errors with the Global Preferences page.

Hi, thanks for getting the images back up!

I am still unable to make changes in my preferences. I can submit changes OK on my sales-manager display page, but cannot submit changes to the text in WBN's, description default text, in which I am still giving outdated insurance costs!
Nor can I add the boxes to show insurance costs. I don't want to go back to just personal e-mail notification, as I find the Post Sale express and packing-slip option really useful, but if I can't update my info, I look really sloppy as a seller!

I had a disgruntled bidder last week who said he hated the my AW checkout page because it was outdated and had nowhere to include insurance.
This is the message I get when I click submit:
Ascript error has occured etc.
Line 484
Char 3
Error expected "]" in regular expression
Code 0

Then asks if I want to continue running scripts etc. If "yes" , and I try and submit, the box pops up again. If "no" the submit button doesn't activate at all!
Cookies are enabled. I have also had a problem for a couple of months with not being able to retrieve a page after using the back button. It says it's opening the page, then all I get is a blank screen and "done" at the bottom. I have to return to the home page all the time! ( Fortunately, this doesn't happen when manually launching, but then I don't use back-button, just go from page to page.
Would these problems be related? It doesn't happen any on any other site. I use IE 5.0, and don't wish to install 6.0 and risk unleashing my quarantined viruses or disable Norton.

Hello,

If NAV quarrentined the viruses, upgrading your browser software will not 'release' them. There are a lot of security updates in the newer browsers, and most viruses/worms out there are created specifically to attach machines running outdated software/security programs.

First, I would upgrade to IE60, then visit the Microsoft updates page to get the latest security patches available.

Or, email me the changes you want to make and I can log into your account and make them for you. [email protected]
