Hello,
As a few of you have noticed so far, images are not loading for some users. Engineering is working on the cause of this issue currently, so as soon as an update on this issue is available - we will post back to this thread.

I'm having the same problems! I was happily uploading images.....then I walked away from my computer to do some packing, and when I came back, I had the dreaded "This page cannot be displayed" error message. I thought my ISP had crapped out! I tried again, and the same thing happened. Then I discovered these messages threads and saw that I wasn't the only one having a problem tonight. Worse yet, all of my auctions on eBay have little red "x's" where the images should be. Sure hope it's a short outage.

No images in NY , great Monday is starting to be a good night, or was. Where is the general announcement on the annoucement page or is that for PR only no negative annoucements.

Can not load active, pending auctions with above error.

Please advise if this will be a quick fix or a marathon.

I hope we get some kind of refund or free day. I can't even get into post sale to tell my customers how much they owe me to pay probably the new higher auction watch fees.

I hope all those free trial guys are loving this tonight, and I just told a friend of mine how great it has been and he should try auction watch. He has three employees and a warehouse full of stuff , best of luck.

Hi golfwidow1,
No, my auctions did not go well tonight and as everyone can tell, I am a tad upset. My auctions went off during the "event" as I sure many other users did.
And we pay for this to continually happen to us!

Is everybody suppoed to be up and running?
The images that do display, are way slow, and I have a very fast cable modem.
I only have a portion of images displaying all of my auctions.

AW it has been a hour since the last request for a update, what is your definition of shortly?
It is pretty sad that I have to ask YOU for a update.
Get professional and tell us the status, regardless of if it is good or bad news.

Hello,
Engineering has been working on this, and Intermittent Images have been appearing for most users. Service should be restored soon, however no official ETA has been given as of yet.

What is the percentage of people who have pictures. From the people I have talked to all of there pictures are still down. Please don't make this a little issue when it is big. Take responsibilty. We are losing money.

AuctionWatch Engineers
Please follow these instructions:
1) Place your hands in the air.
2) Slowly back away from the servers.
3) Quietly exit the building in an orderly fashion.
4) Reassemble at the tavern two blocks down the street.
5) STAY THERE UNTIL MY AUCTIONS END!!!
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

My auctions were launching during the time of the "outage". Now I have no gallery thumbnails in ebay search mode. Ebay sent me a lot of dumb emails saying that they could not find the thumbnail to load into their image database. Now the listing is fully launched, and yes there are images with the listing, but no thumbnail gallery images. I think ebay is locked in now. I believe Auction Watch owes it to us to figure out how to ask ebay to refresh their gallery thumbnail images.
Auction Watch Engineers - if you are listening or reading this thread - please fix this problem.

billringer,
Now that AW has corrected the image hosting problem, eBay can update your images correctly. Of course, you can only do it one listing at a time.
The following information is from eBay's HELP system:
My photo is not showing up in the gallery. What should I do?
When you list your item in the Gallery, we retrieve your image from where you've posted it on the Internet, scale it down, and prepare to add it to the Gallery. We call this process "making a thumbnail" of your image, because the picture we end up with is a smaller, 96 pixels by 96 pixels representation of your image.
We are almost always successful in creating a thumbnail of the image you supply, but sometimes we run into trouble. This can happen if you have not supplied a jpg (we are not able to use gif image types, unfortunately!), or if the computer where your image is hosted is not running when we try to retrieve it.
When this happens, we send you a notice that you need to check on your Gallery image by going to:
http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?DisplayGalleryImagePage
