ok, this is a strange tale....it started after i downloaded a patch from microsoft on friday evening sep 6, and after that saturday sep 7. i have had problems accessing auctionwatch site. I am on a dial up modem, and when i try to access auction watch site it will not let me, yet i can access any other site. I contacted friends who have high speed and they have no problem accessing auctionwatch site. I would even go the google search and i still couldn't access auctionwatch, so i went to ebay and found someone using auctionwatch as thier auction manager and then i was able to access auctionwatch, hence, i am able to tell this story. I am assuming it could be the patch, but still to not let me in to auctionwatch and ok for the rest of the internet, very strange. Any one out there having this expierence? I contacted officials at auction watch but still have not recieved answer, mind you this just started happening on Saturday. The other funny weird thing is that when i was not able to access auctionwatch and when i went to my auctions on ebay i could not get my pictures to load for me at all, nor any logos, or even the auction watch templates. The server was not responding, between me, my computer and auction watch...again why would a patch if that is what might be the problem have effect on auctionwatch site and not other sites?.....anyway hope someone out there has an answer to this mystery.

I am not sure why this would happen - are you using a bookmark to access our site, by any chance? I am curious about this because you were able to access the site through an eBay auction. Are you able to access the site if you type http://www.auctionwatch.com into your browser's address bar?

i did the browser mention and it's reponse was that auctionwatch site did not exist. I have this problem only when i do a reboot and when i go to the shortcut from my desk top to gain access.Once it denies me access then there is no way i can get in. It also affects my auction manager pro, which doesn't allow me access. But the question is why it works sometimes and sometimes it does not work. I also thought maybe cookies or security, but that is not the problem. My suspicions are starting to look at this patch i downloaded maybe. I know it is not auctionwatch, it must be inside my machine somewhere, and it's the way my machine sees. It is strange and i am still looking into it.
