The ability to edit the stores as a new feature is nice. Now if if only worked as advertised. I can click edit a category in my list of categories all day and it won't work. Tried it on two different PCs and it's just not working.
Come guys ... make sure stuff actually works before you release it - especially when you're going to charge for it soon.

The Select All button on the Edit Categories page also does not work. The View Store and Done buttons are working. Please get the EDIT button working so we can use what you are advertising as a feature for sellers.

Hello,

I am unable to replicate any of the errors you mention. All of the above seem to be working fine for me, on IE6 (java enabled) and 5.5, windows 98 and NT.

What is your browser and OS version?

Thank you for your reply. The Edit Your Stores link found on page:

http://wsacp.auctionwatch.com/my/acp/inventory.html

Opens a Java window. On that page, the Edit button does not work and the Select All button does not work. This has been tried on two different PCs. One with Windows 98, IE6 and a Windows XP (home ver.) and IE6. I will try the link you gave in the meantime, look into the link I noted above.

The link you have provided does not work. Gives an "error on page" message on the status bar.

The error occurs on two different PCs - one with Windows 98, the other Windows XP Home edition. Both have Java enabled. Both are using IE6.

As noted earlier, some of the buttons on the page in question work, some do not. Get the engineers to look at it. Right now these new features are meaningless.

Hello ebusinesscables,

I will have to forward this on to engineering, as I am unable to replicate the problem using Windows 98 and IE 5.5.

Can you tell us if you have multiple applications open when you try this? I am thinking it might be a system resource issue.

Thanks,

Diana

This is not a system resource problem. The inability of the EDIT and Select All buttons occurs on two different PCs with nothing but IE open and following a reboot. It is a Java scripting problem. Have the engineers look at it.

Hello Bill,

I have searched through the message center as well as the queue of email we currently have, and thus far have not received a single other complaint of this issue.

Is there anything in particular about how your 2 machines are setup in relation to anti-virus always on type programs? Perhaps there is a software program running in the background preventing the script from working properly?

I have traveled from South Carolina to Florida and tried this on another PC not connected to a network and using a different ISP. The problem continues. This leads me to believe the problem is on your end. Please look at my account and see if there is something that would be causing this.
As it is ten new features don't work and I have no reason to see how it is a problem on my end. This has occured on every log-in, regardless of the PC used. Please investigate this and resolve .

Hi Bill,

Thank you for providing the extra information. I will forward it on to engineering -- I am able to see the problem in your account only, however I can't replicate it other accounts.

Regards,

Sonya

Thanks for forwarding this to engineering. You noted: however I can't replicate it other accounts.

The best I recall what I did was edit the name of one category, add a descriptive text to it and one other item and then went to the Inventory page to see what other changes needed to be made. Then I clicked on the Edit Your Stores Categories on the Inventory page and it has never worked since. If this is a bug, it will only take a while before others uncover it. I would suggest the engineers see if they can replicate what I note here and track down the problem.
