I was uploading images without a problem and suddenly it's telling me "not a valid name for an image" no matter what name I apply. Please help.

Hi Planejane,

The above error is returned whenever our system detects a non valid file name, or a not an image file or an unsupported image format (like .bmp)

Marius, thanks. I was getting so frustrated that I overlooked the obvious (I had not saved it as a jpeg).
