Hi,

I would like to set up my ads so that each picture has a description underneath it. I have search the templates, but none of them seem to support this format. Is there a trick to getting this to work? Thanks so much!

Hello,

There are a couple layouts that will let you have all the images on top and the description on the bottom. However if you wanted to do something like, one image then a description and repeat that, you'd need to insert HTML for the image in the appropriate spots of the item description and just alternate that and your image description.

Regards,

Hello,

To obtain the code which contains a link to your image, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Image Hosting page within Auction Manager
2. Check the box next to the image(s) that you wish to attach to your auction
3. On the bottom of the page, click the "attach" button
4. Verify the image and click "Continue"
5. On the next page, copy and paste the entire block of HTML (which includes your image URL) into the description box of the auction listing form.

If you need to insert spaces, use the <br> tag for a line break and the <p> tag for a paragraph break.

Sonya

Hi,

OK, I've tried that over and over and I just don't get it. (as you can tell I am new at this) I did exactly as you said and this was the message I got "AuctionWatch.com will automatically insert this field for you. Your item will contain the icon when listed on eBay. " I had nothing to copy and paste onto my description field. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks!

Hello,

After you choose the image from the list and you hit Attach, from the drop down under the image, pick the option "Other Auction Site (generate HTML)" then hit Continue. You should see the HTML. Did you get that far?
