I thought if we put the number of pounds and chose calculated when listing with AWPro the exact shipping would show on the WBN. They are all emailing me for shipping. When I checked the preview, the window shows a * instead of shipping.
Also the window is too far at the end, most did not see it at all and a few others did not know to open it but thought the amount in front of window was shipping instead of bid. I would like shipping to show at the top heading underneath the bid amount.
The form is too awkward & time consuming to actually use and people don't want to fill it out. However the shipping needs to be at the top so they can total with the bid and we should be able to opt out of the form to make the letter less confusing.
Your winners have to fill out the WBN in order to get the shipping calculation. I don't know what you mean by "front of window", do you have an example? The form cannot be an "opt out" as it is a part of the WBN process.

In front of the window where they choose shipping (which is not there when they open it) is a dollar amount which is the bid. Some think that is the shipping and only add that to the payment.
No one wants to fill out the form. When they pay with PayPal or anything else their address is automatically provided. It is just confusing to them.
They are also getting as many as 4 notices each. I've been getting these all day, they do not understand the attached form. We should be able to opt out of the form with the shipping window up at the top under bid amount so they can click and have it calculated for them.

I have received four emails from you with regard to this Decanter. The emails are .... all over the place... and difficult to understand. May I pay you for the Decanter via PalPay? Do you require payment via a money order? How much is the shipping? What is the total amount required? Please let me know what would be the best method of payment for you.

All they want to know is shipping amount, address and payment method. I see no benefit to this complicated WBN form if they get nothing at all from it. I don't even understand how it works, so there is no wonder they get frustrated. There is no reason for me to take time to put shipping & weight into the listing if they can't find them and I have to email as before anyway.
If you do not want to use the WBN it is up to you. The form is part of the WBN post sale process and cannot be omitted. If your winners are receiving many notices, check and make sure you don't have PayPal's WBN turned on (they have one, not sure if you are aware of that). Are you using eBay Checkout? If you are then they are probably getting that confused with the rest of it.
What I would suggest is editing the WBN email message to state how you want your winners to proceed. This will hopefully eliminate some confusion and prompt them to fill out the form.

I don't use checkout or PayPal notices. If we can't opt out we should at least be able to edit the form. It is my instructions versus your instructions that are consfusing, plus the inability to quickly find the info they need. For instance you speak of "If you use a credit card......." I cannot take credit cards and state that early in the notice, but they see that and forward credit card payments anyway. That is why I don't use the other notices, they do the same thing.
