I just signed up for AuctionWatch last night and I was wanting help with WBNs. I don't want to use the AuctionWatch payment link that I guess is in the WBN by default. I want to use a link on my own site like this:
https://www.consoleaccessories.com/auctions.asp?d=%%AuctionId%%&n=%%Title%%&b=%%ClosePrice%%&s=%%Shipping1%% that will automatically fill in everything for the person so I can use my own merchant account. Is there anyway to get rid of the payment link that is provided? I was also wondering what the difference is between the following:
%%Shipping1%%
%%Shipping2%%
%%ShippingCustom%%
%%ShippingCustom1%%
Unfortunately there is no way to remove that link, as it is a part of the WBN process. You can include your link in the WBN email message, but the other link is still going to be visible.
The shipping variables are equal to the four shipping options that you can set in Global Preferences. Two have preset carriers that you can choose from the drop down in global preferences, and the other two are custom (meaning you can fill in the blank).
If you want to close out your account, send an email to [email protected] from the email address it was registered under and request account closure. Be sure to also include your account name.
