Once again, AW. Why can't you do something about the wbn? Most of my buyers are happy, as this one was: "I love your checkout procedure!" But a very few feel like this one: "Your checkout is a big time-wasting pain in the a$$." Followup on that one found that he got trapped in the "must specify country" thing. Anyone who ever got trapped there won't use the wbn proc. again, and probably won't consider using aw. Can't you at least tell them the error is in the bill-to section? Or drop the bill-to section? I just cannot understand how this can be a big problem to fix. You are not hearing from the people whom it is affecting. They just go away mad.

Hi Rgrem,

If you can let me know what item number this is in reference to, I will go through the buyer checkout myself and try to replicate the country error.

Sonya

It is in every item's wbn. It is not a glitch or a temp error, it is the way wbn works. If the buyer forgets to specify country in the (virtually useless to most of us) bill-to data, then clicks "same as above" for the ship to, and then tries to continue, he will get a "missing country spec" error. The bill-to has scrolled up off the screen, and he is faced with trying to correct the country entry in the ship-to. He will continue getting the error, not knowing that the program wants it in the bill-to data. Since my wbn's are either returned or filled in by myself, I can't reproduce the problem. Seems to me that you must be able to fake a sale and wbn. Better yet, get rid of the bill-to area or issue the country-missing error message, specifying that it is missing in the useless bill-to area.

Hi Rgrem,

I have just found out that changes to the checkout page are in the works. I will let you know more information as I find out, but hopefully the change will eliminate that problem some of your buyers are experiencing.

Regards,

Sonya
