It's kind of funny, but I had JUST turned ON my Paypal sales tax function, because so many of my customers didn't know how to translate the sales tax onto the paypal form. Just after I do that, there is an announcement by AW that doing so causes duplicate charges to the customer. So I went to disable this function at Paypal, and it really wouldn't let me. Anybody had to do this? I tried going up to the top of the State tab so no state showed and erasing the amount in the percentage and then clicking "save changes," but it kicked it back as not correct. So I ended up leaving the state, and putting 0.00% in the sales tax part. Will that be okay, or will that cause a problem between AW and Paypal?? Please help. At a loss!

Anyone who is not paying thru PayPal will not pay the sales tax due if they are in your state. AW is aware of this, it has been mentioned on this BB periodically for quite some time. Turning off the sales tax calculator in PayPal also will not charge sales tax to those customers who do not go through AW. What % of your customers fill out the checkout on AW. You need to have the ability to specify your state sales tax and have it automatically applied based on the percentage you specify, your customer should not have to set the percentage. In all of your travels through this world have you ever been handed the responsibility to calculate your own sales tax? I think not.

And while I'm adding my two cents regarding sales tax. Why is there no sales tax report capability from anywhere on AW that I am aware of. I have a work around I use which involves downloading from archive but that requires the raw data to be archived first. This is such a needed feature it should not have been overlooked.
