Hi -- I had a couple auctions originally listed as auctions with a reserve. I decided to relist them, through AuctionWatch, and switch them to fixed price. I changed the selection from "auction" to "fixed price", then I changed the opening bid to $0.00, changed the reserve price to $0.00, and put my fixed price amount in the fixed price, BIN field.
They all errored out, and the message was that I had a conflict ... don't remember the exact words but basically it said I couldn't have a fixed price combined with a reserve price.
Did I do something wrong, or is this just a glitch in the process?
Thanks,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
Unfortunately you can't relist an auction as a fixed price item if you had a reserve on it -- you'd have to copy that listing, then list it as a new fixed price item. You may want to review eBay's help guide on relisting and fixed price items so that you are more clear on what you can and cannot do with them.
Regards,
Sonya

Well, Sonya -- I pride myself on being able to navigate through the eBay website to find stuff out .... but I'm stumped as to where this information is available. Can you give me a link to where it says that items previously listed can't be relisted as a fixed price auction?
