I have an auction that ended 8 hours ago...it won't move from the active auction in the control panel. I've clicked on "REFRESH" about 100 times this morning...still no move. I've already emailed the buyer with the total and mailing information. I guess that this will be yet another buyer who won't have an opportunity to look at my AuctionWatch store....because AuctionWatch does not recognize that the auction has ended! This seems to be an ongoing problem with BIN auctions. If a fix for this is not imminent, and buyers are not given the opportunity to visit my store before their money orders go into the mail....the $$ I pay for the store are wasted.

Just venting and hoping for a fix

Hello,

The auction is in closed right now and the WBN has been sent out. You might want to check out the following URL on Mailstep:

http://www.auctionwatch.com/promo/mailstep/bin.html

It is a feature that we offer that can help eliminate WBN latency for Buy It Now auctions.

Regards,

Sonya

Is the only way to have BIN auctions move out of active immediately - enroll in mailstep? I'd really rather not have my email routed through AW.

Hello,

The email forwarding system is currently the only way to move them down automatically, when an item ends prior to its originally scheduled ending date. Otherwise, just place a check mark beside that item and use the refresh button built into the page.

Just a note on this - you may be able to forward your EOA notices to your mailstep email address, even though you are not the using mailstep address in your auctions. Try forwarding an EOA notice to [email protected], and see if that will do the trick (note that the system may take some time to process this.)

Thanks,

Diana
