Well, I thought I'd list a bunch of auctions tonight taking advantage of Free Listing Day with eBay but never thought to check out the message center first. I've been with AW for a few years now and knew in advance that the free listing days would be slow launching. After all the complaints AW has received over the latency and erroring out issues in the past, I thought for sure that the problem would have been solved a long, long time ago...especially if AW knew this information also (posted announcement). There has to be a better way to get well-prepared for such a heavy load of auctions being launched through AW to eBay. Was there communication to eBay yesterday about this issue when they first made the announcement? Better yet...why doesn't eBay announce something like this alot sooner so that AW has a chance to make necessary arrangements? No way...too many people would not list regularly just waiting to list everything on FLD! LOL! Then they have to go and announce it on Christmas when most people are away from their computers. Why not make the announcement a month ahead of time...maybe eBay will get lucky and some of us will forget! They don't want to give too many freebies away! LOL! I'm so glad I just launched only 1 auction to check my new preferences to see that they will show up correctly on eBay...of course it's still stuck in processing so I won't know until it has actually launched! Sorry about the long message, just had to vent a little!
