Is it possible to change my name on the return address of my invoices and labels. I'd like to add a business name as opposed to my first and last name. Preferrable I'd like to set it as a default so I don't have to edit each label/invoice.
thanks
Carlos

Hi Carlos,

To do this, go to your My Account tab and click on Personal Information. If you change what you have put in for first and last name to your business name, that will cause it to appear on your invoices in place of your first and last name.

I saw your reply to Carlos. If I delete my first and last names and add a business name will that cause other problems with either credit card billing, sending my info in the mail or anything else? It would seem to me you'd still have to capture my name somewhere? Do you really not need it if a business name is present?

Hello,

That is fine, you can change your name without running into billing or mailing issues. As long as you want your buyers to submit payment to your business name, you should be setup ok.

Christopher (or anyone). Your answer to denivia raises another question for me. I'm considing adding a "business name" as a marketing tool but I don't have a business account or setup in anyone to receive payments. I just wanted it to reflect on my emails as well as the invoice and label. You stated that's ok but the payment would go to the name how is that? I have a Paypal account with my name on it. Seems to me if someone pays me through paypal all they see if my email address during the payment process anyway so the payment would still go directly into my bank account without me changing my name in paypal. Of course if someone wanted to mail me a check I would have to modify my WBN to say Pay to my name.
Any comments?
Carlos

Hello,

Whatever you have in Personal Information will be reflected on the site. If you were to replace your first and last name with a business name, that is what would appear, along with the address you have there. If you are only using PayPal then it wouldn't make a difference to you whether you had a business name there or not. And if you offered payment by check as an option, you would need to specify in the WBN to send it to your name and not your business name.

Regards,

Sonya
