I went in immediately and opted out completely of the AW checkout 2 days ago. However, my auctions I typed up to launch this evening still have the version that appears at the end of text. I've tried 3 times now to check "do not display" and it WILL NOT stay checked!
I NEVER go into post sale management to read these and do not want problems as a result of this!
If you scheduled them and then turned off the checkout button, you are going to have to edit each auction and deselect the option to include the button in your listings. Once you've done this you should be all set.
It is not working. I went to my "seller preferences" and have repeatedly checked to opt out and it will not stay saved!!! It should not appear in my auctions and should not appear already checked in an auction as I am writing it up. It does. Again, the button to completely opt out, when checked and then hit save, does not work. Checked my partner, and same thing. I opted her out completely a couple of days ago too, and yet they are in her active auctions.
What gives? This is totally unwanted and I can't opt out of it completely like I am supposed to be able to. Again, if people use this, I WILL NOT ever see this info. and problems are sure to result! I do not want to have to "click off" in each auction I type. So why isn't the preference being saved???
It should never have appeared in my auction text to begin with, as I said, I opted out as soon as you advertised it.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

I understand that you have opted out of it. I checked your preferences and am verifying that you have done this correctly. However, I don't know when you started to schedule these listings -- before or after you opted out, or during the time we experienced the problem with the checkout button appearing in preview even though you've opted out.
Deseleting it globally like you have done is not going to affect these auctions you have scheduled in pending. What you are going to have to do is, unschedule each one, go in the listing, and deselect the "include AW Checkout button in my listing" option. Then reschedule them and you will see that the checkout button no longer appears.

Hello pratt9999,
I just wanted to add - we have tested your account by creating a new listing, and the checkout option is not appearing in the new listing. Like Sonya said, the existing scheduled listings will need to be edited and resaved.
I am curious - I see that you have auto-WBN selected, and I am not sure why you would not want the checkout button to appear in your listings. This is the same checkout as the WBN checkout - the only difference is that it will allow your buyer to check out right away vs. wait for the WBN. Is there a specific reason why you do not want this feature?

Thank you!!!!!!!!
I did opt out days before I scheduled the listings. I did not see anywhere about a glitch........
But again, thank you!!!
If you read my WBN......I pratically beg them not to click onto the link and fill it out. I've tried to edit it out, but it will not stay edited out. I just like the convenience of the automated EOA's but don't use the other post sale management options. I find it creates more headaches. Like when I would send the "your item has been shipped email".....it would just generate more email questions from the buyer when the deal should have been done! Like, "oh, ok, how did you ship it and when should it arrive...etc." It's what I call email h*ll =0) Just my experience mind you.
