I remember selecting gallery images for 2 of my auctions this evening, but they're not showing on my 'seller's other items' page on ebay.
I've tried copying and pasting the URLs after clicking on the images in 'manage images' from Vendio to the revise item, gallery section, but get another image of a different item at the end of my listing page, and still nothing ( but red x)in gallery space.

Can this be rectified? I really need the gallery option for these items. Help. please!

Hi Uglimouse,

I have lokked at your present active listings at eBay. You have four, and two of them do have gallery option and a gallery picture. These are the items whose IDs and in ...376 and ...436.
It seems that you tried to revise the other items (ending in ...353 and ...617) to add a galley picture. The correct steps to add a gallery image to an existing eBay listing are described below:
- go to the ManageImages link in your SalesManager panel;
- select the image you want, and click Attach;
- copy the HTML code for the gallery image (this is the first image tag! looking something like: <img src=""http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/YourVendioUserName/TheDesiredGalleryImageName" )
- go to eBay, log in and click on ReviseItem link
- click on the EditPictures&ItemDetails link;
- paste the URL for the gallery picture above (only the quoted part, i.e. http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/YourVendioUserName/TheDesiredGalleryImageName)
- check Gallery or GalleryFeatured, then click on SaveChanges;
- in the next page, you should see the Review page, with the image selected as gallery. Click SaveRevision(s)

Hope this helps

Marius

Many thanks , Marius, but for some reason, it didn't work, and I then kept getting a red message from ebay on the revise item page saying I had to enter the whole URL, which I thought I did, as per your instructions! (It said to start with the http, so I tried it both with the <img src before the http, and without it, but still got the same red message on the page, also adding a tip, put in in my browser and see if thepicture is displayed. It didn't, so I'm doing something not right!
I'll be gone for a couple of hours, so will try again 'pon my return. This is my last entry, below:

Hi Uglimouse,

This is the URL that you need to use:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/uglimouse/snake3.JPG

That URL should take in the gallery, let us know if you continue to get those errors.

Regards,

Sonya
