I am e-mailing you as well as posting this note; I still can't do A THING on Vendio Sales Manager today, and am desperate for your help! Is there anyone in Customer Service I can call? Sonya responded to my posting yesterday, as well as e-mailed me, but nothing has changed at my end.
I am still having problems with Vendio; specifically Sales Manager. I can get to Manage Images and things are fine; the complete screen is intact and I can upload and delete photos. I've been trying to get in to the "pending" auctions on the left side of the screen...and it goes to the 4 pending listings....but once again, the screen is incomplete and I can't do anything...."x"s everywhere. I am trying to delete these 4 listings under "pending" as......call me crazy......I think this has something to do with the problem.
When I was trying to list an item yesterday....things were coming along smoothly until I clicked on "preview listing". Once I did that, everything went wrong. I couldn't go back and change info on the listing....as those buttons weren't even showing on the screen....just "x"s everywhere.
A note came up in the bottom of the screen. "Done, but with errors on screen"
Here are the details of the three error messages:
I don't know if this will help you, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As I said earlier, it seemed to happen when I listed this particular auction. Things were fine until this listing and then everything fell apart. It's almost like the html I was trying to use screwed things up but good. Is there ANY WAY you can delete those 4 listings from my Pending file for me? I can't do a thing to get rid of them. I'm just wondering if deletion of those auctions would maybe solve the problem. (And if I didn't know better, the problems started when I tried to use a "+" sign in the item description line.)
As an aside, I have noticed that since Auctionwatch changed to Vendio, I have had a few general problems. One is that on occasion....when I try to relist, I get a message saying an illegal operation has taken place....and then the whole program shuts down altogether. This has happened a number of times to me, but I never thought much of it at the time.
In any event, I am unable to conduct business now, and don't have any idea how to resolve this. As my spouse wondered....why did our IE5.0 work all along and then out of the blue fink out on us? I am not all that computer savvy when it comes to the technical side of things....but it seems like it has to do with this one listing. Would adding a "+" sign to the item description line throw things off?
HELP....and I mean HELP!! I am unable to do any listing whatsoever.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

When Sonya contacted you directly, she mentioned upgrading or at least reloading your browser software - but you mention still being on the IE5.0.
I would suggest visiting the Windows Update center to see what is currently available for your setup.
The errors you are running into are Java based, which 5.0 should support, but for which there have been numerous improvements and security patches released for. While you do not have to upgrade to the IE6 if you do not wish to do so, at least get all of the browser updates currently available to you. In the end, you may need to reload at least your IE5.0, although it may no longer be avaialble for download even via Microsoft in which case you would have to jump to at least the 5.5 version.
You might want to try removing the "+" sign in the description line, as special characters can certainly cause problems. Also, I checked your pending listings, and there appears to be a partial HTML tag in the description, in this line:
Included in this lot are: <ul><Before Midnight(Copyright 1955)-Bantam-5th
The <li> tag is incomplete - HTML errors like this can cause problems at times. I have corrected the tag in the top listing, so try previewing that one and see if it works any better for you.
