I understood that when I checked the box that tax info was not relevant to a sale that it didn't show the boxes for numerical input. I've just had a customer pay sales tax on an item where I checked the box that no tax info was relevant for the sale. Can you please tell me if this box is just referring to my own text regarding tax, or if it supposed to suppress all tax relating choices from the checkout process?

Hi Planejane,
the Sales Tax checkbox in your Post Sale Management page controls weather or not to display during the checkout process the sales tax fields and the associated instructions.
If your account is setup for automatic WBNs, then this preference is applied at the moment the WBNs are sent.
If you send WBNs manually, then you have complete control over this checkbox, so while editing the WBN to be sent you can override the global preference.
To answer your question: yes, this checkbox suppresses all tax relating choices from the checkout process.
