I have just found on my statement that in April someone stole my images, and so I was charged 10 cents each for them. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi Amber,

If you are receiving charges for images that are being used by a third party, please contact the user and ask them to cease and desist. Using someone else's copyrighted images is against eBay's rules and regulations, so we would urge you to notify eBay as well.

You may request a refund for the image hosting charges associated with the stolen images. Here is a link to our refund request form:

https://secure.vendio.com/my/acct/request_refund.html

Note that you will need to enter the Ref ID number from your statement for each erroneous image hosting charge. If there are more than 25 line items, please let us know. I will then get you in touch with our billing specialist.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya, thanks for your quick reply. I don't know how to find out who stole my pictures, I just find that there are several pictures charged 10 cents each for one auction, all my auctions are listed with Vendio, as I put up to 10 pictures on my auctions, the cost really mounts up.

Hello,

You can find out if you click on the auction ID number next to the entry for the image. It will take you right to the auction. I hope this helps.

Regards,

Sonya

Well, I was surprised to find that the pictures were not stolen at all, but my auction for a "second chance" offer. Can you tell me why I would be charged for each picture when the auction was listed with Vendio, and had already just been in the first listing with all the pictures? Do you charge extra for pictures used for "second chance"?

Hello Amber,

A second chance listing is technically a relist. Each time your images appear in a new item number, if the new number did not originate from here, you are subject to image hosting fees. In this case, we cannot submit second chance listings, so doing so via eBay is the only way. In those cases you pay image hosting fees, rather than the listing and final value fee.

Christopher

Christopher: Am I understanding you correctly that every time I do a "second chance" offer, Vendio will charge me 10 cents for every photo on that second chance listing?

Hello,

That is correct, in those cases you would pay an image hosting fee rather than both a listing and final value fee - at this time.

Christopher
