Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
It's been a very long time coming and it shows up like a lamb - I just previewed a Post Sale Payment Reminder email that I was about to send and it looks VERY professional now with the customer's first and last name in the greeting instead of their email address... awesome!

FALSE ALARM and my apologies - guess it really isn't fixed... meaning it remains broken.
Seems that particular customer's email HAS her first and last name as the email address and that is why it populated her actual name instead of her email address.
Guess we continue to look unprofessional in our communications.
Any estimate on when this WILL be fixed? I know... we'll forward your request to Product Development as another suggestion...
Oh well... thought we had something that would be useful to us sellers.

It was a storefront purchase with Order Confirmation or checkout completed. At this point the system "knows" their name - the one the customer entered.
Vendio "storefronts" are a pretty good value for the money - and after a customer confirms the order the "storefront" should key on the customer's name - and not on their email as it does. Makes it difficult for us "storefront" owners to look professional and look like a real "store" and not just a "storefront".
Doesn't matter... solutions are coming on my end anyway.
