I'm having lots of customers get upset when they don't see the shipping discounts immediately on the WBN form. It is not even visible until the very last page, AFTER they have seen the original full shipping prices and by then are too mad to notice such an ambiguous note as "Credit Applied" !! Many don't even continue on to the next page to where they can actually see the discounts applied - they stop right there and email me and complain that they are not seeing the shipping discounts I promised them!
Isn't there a way to make the "Credit Applied" on the same page as the WBN form they fill out, rather than on the final, "Check-out" page, so they can see it right there with the fully charged shipping fees? And, why don't you make the entries we can type in for the "reason for the credit" readable to the customer instead of simply an ambiguous "Credit Applied"? I typed in the "Reason" box "Shipping Discount for 2nd Item", ..."3rd Item", etc. and it would be nice to have the customer be able to see that notation so as to see EXACTLY the amount and the reason why each credit is applied rather than an ambiguous "Credit Applied", which seems to confuse them since they are often looking for something that is ACTUALLY spelled out as a shipping discount, rather than a "Credit Applied" notation on the very last page.
I have added instructions in the Greeting message that explains the shipping discounts will be seen on the last page of the Check-out as "Credit Applied", but no one seems to even read it or remember it.
Please don't suggest I go in and edit the shipping for each and every item in multiple wins - it is far too time consuming and, for that matter, why even offer the "Credit Applied" feature if it can't be used to great effectiveness?
NOTE:I'm editing this because I JUST got this note from a customer for whom I combined auctions and did the discounts, etc., as stated above and this is what she sends me AFTER reading and filling out the WBN form!!! "Just curious about combined shipping?" - see what I mean?

Hi Biffette,
Thank you for your suggestions. I will forward them on to Product Development. In the meantime you may want to put your shipping discount offers in every place you can think of -- Checkout email, Checkout message, store, etc.
