When I click on Ebay to "create listing"...it takes forever for the page to load. Then after it finally loads, it kicks me off Vendio, and goes back to my server. I've been doing this for 3 years and never had this happen. Can't list anything. Is it me, my server or Vendio...Anyone else having trouble??

Same problem. The category page loads very slowly and then creates an error, closing my browser and puts me back on the desktop. No trouble listing on Ebay Motors, however.

I just tried to create a listing on ebay after my photos were uploaded and same problem here...just sends a message that cannot communicate. Just kicks my browser back to desk top and an alert for Netscape help. The 4 e-mails in this thread have never been addressed nor is there any mention on the announcements. Could someone please answer?

Hello,

What browsers are all of you using, and what versions are they? Whenever eBay changes their categories, it can slow down the loading of the category selection page. The new category tree needs to load and since it is very large it can take a while after a change has been made. Once it loads however, the next time you access it, it will load faster.

Regards,

Sonya

My browser is netscape 7.1 the new upgrade version. I have dumped the cookies and uninstalled and reinstalled netscape but still am unable to access the create a listing page, here is the error that I am receiving

NETSCP caused a stack fault in module JS3250.DLL at 0177:61221963

I have no idea what this means, any help would be appreciated.

I am still unable to launch any auctions. I have been trying since last night and all morning today. This is very frustrating. I even tried a different listing service just so I could get some auctions going for tonight. Please look into this and fix the problem. I don't think it has anything to do with our browsers. Ebay tried to tell us the same thing a couple of weeks ago when they were having problems.

Hi Tomshrmn,

The problem is related to the Netscape 7 browser -- it is important that we know if you are using that browser. Please let us know if you are using Netscape, and what version of it you are using.

Sonya

Hi Sonia,

Please read my reply just before the one you just answered. I stated the browser and version that I am using and also included the error message.

Hello,

The message I posted was not directed towards you -- I got the information that you provided me with and forwarded over to engineering. We will keep you up to date in this thread regarding this problem. Are you on a Mac or a PC?

I am on a PC and am very familiar with vendio as I have used it daily for 4 years.

I am having the same problem. Unable to create Ebay auction or download Ebay site specifics.
I have tried both through Sales Manager and Image Hosting. When the download gets to Ebay catagories my browser crashes.
I m using Windows 98 and Netscape 7.0.
Help!!!!

Hello,

The Netscape problem should be fixed now -- please let us know if you continue to run into errors when listing your items.

If you are a Mac user and you had the problem listing where only dashes would appear, that problem has also been resolved.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,

Sonya

We still are unable to list. Again it dumps us off-line after we hit ebay. It shows it loading, then when it's done it dumps us. There is no error message. Ebay Motors, Yahoo and Amazon still work.

Hello tomshrmn,

The problem is now limited to the Compuserve browser. If you are using the CS browser, please try using Internet Explorer instead, and let us know this helps or not.

Thanks,

Diana
