As part of a renewed security effort, eBay recently announced that they are phasing out the use of email addresses as User IDs. This change will affect existing members who currently use an email address as a User ID when logging into eBay. Please note that eBay will automatically assign a new User ID to existing members who currently have an email User ID if they have not updated their User ID by January, 2004. (Inactive members will be automatically assigned a new User ID starting the week of August 11, 2004.) Members who log in to eBay using their email address will no longer be able to do this once eBay has completed this transition.
This change will affect our ability to perform key functions such as auction launching, monitoring, and post-sale actions if the User ID you have stored with us is your email address and not your updated User ID.
In order to avoid potential service interruptions, please check the following:
Determine what eBay User ID you currently have stored with Vendio here:
**If you already have an eBay User ID that is not an email address, and that User ID is stored with us, you do not need to make any changes.
**If you currently have an eBay User ID that is not an email address, but you have stored your email address as your eBay User ID with us, please change the email address to your eBay User ID here: https://secure.vendio.com/ureg/
**If you are currently using an email address as your eBay User ID, we recommend you change your User ID with eBay as soon as you can here: http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ChangeUserId Once you have changed your eBay ID, you will need to store the new User ID with us under My Account -> Auction Site Accounts: https://secure.vendio.com/ureg/
