I will be selling a large number of items for someone who lives in another state. They will be shipping from there.
My question is this - If I change the zip in Global Prefs, synchronize and then launch those auctions to Ebay, will the shipping still be calculated from that zip if I go back to Global Prefs and re-enter my zip code?
I know it sounds confusing, but I am trying to find a way to do this without having to turn off my WBN and having to manually enter shipping cost after the auction closes.
Would it be possible to add the option of an alternate zip code on the create new listing page or even to sales manager? Where you could have a main zip code as default, but the ability to override it if necessary?
I'll be starting these auctions shortly, if you could help out with this I'd appreciate any input.

Hello Gerri,
The shipping is calculated based on zip code when the buyer actually goes through the checkout process. Unfortunately, to use the USPS calculated shipping option, you would need this other persons zip code in the preference at the time your buyers go to checkout.
We will be happy to pass along the suggestion of making available the use of more than one zip code, or make it item specific.
