I have just switched to launching from on-line inventory instead of SM Pro so I can preserve the cross-merchandising and header information. (That is a huge glitch, by the way.)

If I relaunch a "sold" item from Post Sale will the cross-merchandising and header information be preserved? Will that relaunched auction appear exactly as it did when first launched?

Hello,

Yes, relisting items that were originally launched via your online inventory will retain all of their saved data. It will again remove one from your quantity available and mark it as being at auction as well.

I just did a pending relist from Post Sale and the original listing came from inventory. Inventory didn't update to "at auction" even though the item was showing up in pending. Would that have changed when the item actually went to eBay? (I ended up taking it out of pending so I could research it and here I am!)

I did another one the other day and ended up with two items in inventory, though, to be fair, I'd tinkered with the description and title within eBay so I can see how that might confuse the system.

By the way, being able to tinker with descriptions and titles and such from with Vendio would be great -- that's one great thing that eBay's SAP has that I loved.

Thanks!

Hello forgetmenot1,

That is correct, it will not show as at auction until the item is an active item at eBay, it would not reduce the quantity available from inventory until that time as well. There is actually a short delay from the time it does go active to when inventory updates to reflect it, but it will mark one as being at auction and remove one from your quantity available.

Christopher

Well, my relisted item launched (from closed to pending to active) yesterday and the item is still showing with a quantity available of 1 rather than showing it's at auction. I did get the relist notation on my eBay account so I know they recognized it as a relist. I didn't make any changes to the item at all before it relisted -- why is it still showing up in my inventory with a quantity available as one?

Thanks!
