Hello there,

I've checked your account and I don't find a pending listing that would exhibit this error. Were you able to get your item launched? If so, please let us know what you did to resolve the problem, so that we can investigate the error.

Thanks,

Diana

No, I did not get it resolved.
I had to list it in the wrong category, go to Ebay and edit.
We need an update on the situation please!

Hello,

We are working with eBay on these problems. We would appreciate it if you could tell us what specific category was resulting in this error, so that we can look into the error.

Thanks,

Diana

Clothing, Vintage, Women's Shoes
Possibly others, that's all I know for now.
Thanks!

Hello again - I have tested the category Clothing -> Vintage -> Women's Shoes by launching a new item, and it launched with no problem. I am not sure which item was causing the problem in your account - I've looked but can't find any unsold, pending, or active listings in this category.

Which specific item is it that was causing the problem? We are happy to investigate, but cannot seem to replicate this error.

Thanks,

Diana

Diana,
I wrote that I listed it under a different category and then edited it on the EBAY site.
I TRIED to list it under VINTAGE, WOMEN'S SHOES, and that is when the error message appeared.
It is not pending now of course.

Hi there - yes, I understand, I just couldn't find the active item. I did locate it finally, but because it has been changed I am unable to test using this item. I will log this issue, in hopes that we can find a similar item to test in another account - it would be helpful if you would let us know:

1. Did you list the original item under Clothing -> Vintage -> Women's Shoes, and try to change the category on relist?
2. If so, which category did you use originally?

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience!

I did not change the cat. on the relist.
Ebay is having major issues with the Vintage Cat., so that may explain the problem.
They have expanded the vintage boxes so it's no small wonder that it did not work.
Listing it under regular cat. for shoes was no problem.
It is ONLY with shoes in Vintage..so far.
I haven't too many others.
Hope this helps you!
BTW, someone on the EBAY board told me how to "fix" the issue.
So, that is how I finally got it to work for me.

I am also still having problems. Please see the errored auction in my pending file, and tell me what is wrong. I tried to do the thing you mention in your announcement, but I guess I didn't understand it correctly. When I try to use the ----- instead of "other bears", it doesn't give a catagory number. This is a Royal Copenhagen plush bear that I want to list in both catagories. Please check and see what's wrong, so you can put this on the list of things to fix. Do it SOON, so I can launch it another way. It appears you can't do anything if you don't see it first.

toys, just a suggestion to work around this till someone fixes this mess;
Just enter the bear into a toy category.
Go to the Ebay site, and revise from there and fill in the correct info.
This should take care of it!
Let me know!

Hi, Liveinjeans:

I would do that, but I want them to SEE the problem. If they don't SEE it, apparently they cannot fix it. 8-( Odd problem. I hope it's fixed soon.
