Hello, I still cannot fix my gallery images! I tried several times to fix them following the instructions in your announcement. Frustrating, I feel that I am paying for nothing. Any idea on how long this is going to last? A lot of work! Here are my questions. This is how the announcement reads; 1. Go to the listing you wish to revise. QUESTION: GO WHERE ? GO TO MY LISTING HERE IN MY INVENTORY OR
GO DIRECTLY TO EBAY? 2. Right click on the gallery image. QUESTION: From which screen do I right click it on? The actual live auction listing on eBay? or in my manage images screen? 3. I got that lol 4. I got that lol 5 I got that. When I am revising it at eBay I select the YOUR OWN WEB HOSTING tab correct? It then gives me a option that I am not sure if I am supposed to check or not. The option reads ( The description already contains a picture URL for my item) Do I check that option or not ? I have never had to revise my auctions before,now I have to revise every one! I am not familiar with eBay`s direct selling form because I have always had this. I need help to fix these, as I sell unique art that requires a gallery photo & my hits are down because of this. Thanks, Deb
You have to edit the auction on eBay -- not your Vendio inventory, as editing your inventory will have no effect on the active listing. Yes, you are supposed to select 'your own web hosting'. If you do not check that option (the one that states the description contains a picture URL) then whatever you put first in the 'your own web hosting' URL section will be what ebay takes as the upper left hand image (the one that previously used to be Ipix only).
The gallery issue is an eBay problem, which they are actively working on. We will continue to update the announcement so keep checking the announcements forum.
