Hi everyone,

I have been using this website for a couple of years to load my auctions I havent really had many problems that were hard to fix, but this seemingly small problem has been giving me trouble. I am having a problem creating a new listing for some reason. It started yesterday, after I uploaded a couple of pictures, I wanted to use them in a new listing on ebay. When I clicked on new listing, the boxes should come up on the next screen for me to type in description etc, but those boxes arent there; just a blank screen. Although all the banners are on the top of the screen. Is vendio updating or something? because this has happened before but usually I can reload the site or wait an hour or so but for this problem, it is not the case.

Hope someone can help ASAP.

Thanks

Hello,

The problem is most likely related to recent changes that eBay made to their category map. Every time eBay updates their category map, we must also update the map on our site. This means that the first time a user visits the category page after an update, we must fetch the new map. Since the category map is fairly large, the time to fetch this page the first time after a category update is noticeably longer than normal, and this looks like a blank page.

Note that the update process can take several minutes. Please allow time for the map to update before exiting the page. After the map has been updated, time to access the category page should return to normal.

Unfortunately, there are certain ISPs or proxy networks that may time out when fetching this large page. We are working to add some visual feedback to this page to help show when the update is occurring, and when potential network problems are present that may prevent the transfer of the map data.

Regards,

Sonya
