The images are shown as a thumbnail when creating the listing and attaching your image. But, they are not showing up in Preview, Quick Preview, eBay Preview or showing up when saved and pending. This is critical. When previewing from the "saved" format even the thumbnails are gone.

Hello,
We have fixed some issues regarding inability to view attached images in the preview for the Mac OS browsers. Please try to attach your images again to your listings.

I am having the exact same problem and it's now going on day 2!! I have emailed Vendio and no response and this is critical to view the images in the "preveiw" stage before launching auctions. Then we I do save, the thumbnail pics are NOT showing up anywhere! Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

Christopher,
Vendio is getting alot of criticism right now...I mean really look at all the emails about this problem. This is unacceptable to tell me to use IE, when I have CS as my internet provider and never had this problem til Vendio changed their attaching image process. I am still unable to attach the images and then do the preview - there are no photos when I do this using CS. It's too time consuming to go in and use IE, very very slow and why should I settle for something lower?

Hello simplychictiques,
Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I am not offering this up as the solution to this possible CompuServe specific incompatibility issue, rather only as a way for you to get your items listed while we check into this issue further.
From your details, your already using Internet Explorer actually. Version 5.1 to be exact, but for some reason when you use it within the Compuserve window, it is not accepting the newer style technology that is being used on this page. (dhtml)
Typically when our Compuserve users run into an error like this, we are also hearing from our AOL users (they are built on the same platform, just different brandings) - however this error appears to be specific to CS only.
We do apologize for any frustration this may cause while we check into this issue further. Note that launching your copy of IE outside of the CS window should have zero effect on your conneection speed.

YO VENDIO CHRISTOPHER & EVERYONE ELSE. I have an iMac DVD & this is still a huge problem! I still cannot attach pics via the new "quick" system. I had 2 auctions launch before I realized what had, or rather, had NOT, happened. I've emaled thru the Help - Contact Us format, & have yet to get a reply. I agree with some of the other members. We shouldn't have to use other browsers. MIE is not 100% Mac compatible. I use Netscape for all my Vendio business. It's set to default to my sign in as my main page, saving me time. Geez, dosen't Vendio get it? Anything that's wastes our time, & MONEY, is a disaster. I've tried several times to attach images this weekend, & still it's a no-go. No images in preview, in a saved pending auction...Nada, Nil, Nothing. Yet we're being charged for having them uploaded I'm sure. o, PLEASE give your immediate & direct attention to this matter!

I forgot to mention...the LEAST Vendio could have done is post an announcement regarding problems with this.

Hello zannatron,
We have received the threads you have posted to this morning on the issue, and are sorry to hear that you continue to run into this issue.
Unfortunately, it does appear that Netscape v.6 simply is not properly supporting the DHTML being used on this page. It is odd however that you are the only Mac user we have heard from thus far on this Netscape 6.x issue.
We are checking into this with engineering and do hope to resolve it as quickly as possible. For now, you could simply launch IE or update to a more recent version of the software which seems to be working with the technology used on this page properly.

I can't get my images to attach either. The pictures are not showing up in the previews even after I've clicked "attach". When I save the listing and go back in to edit it the pictures are gone. I'm not a MAC user (Dell PC) and I'm using Netscape 6.0. (IE is too slow on my system)
I've been a Vendio (AuctionWatch) customer for 3 years and I've never had this problem before.
Is Vendio making any attempts to solve this problem or are we all unrealistically expected to switch browsers?

Hello mocat4,
Sorry for the confusion, we are not suggesting this as a fix, rather just as a workaround for the situation while we check into it further.
Netscape v6.x should support DHTML, but apparently only 7.x is currently working with the technology correctly.
Engineering will continue to work on this issue, so if you have a copy of IE you could use as a workaround or the option to upgrade your version of Netscape, that should allow you to work around the issue for now.
