I have been using Vendio/Auctionwatch for a few years now and have never had a problem with the checkout until the last few months. Over the last couple of months an increasing percentage of my buyers are emailing me saying that the checkout is sending them to an "unsecure" site and they are not comfortable using the checkout because of this. I have responded to each that the checkout is indeed secure and they do not need to give any financial info in the checkout but of course I am a complete stranger telling them this so the bottom line is that they do not complete the checkout. In this day of increased awareness of auction fraud and Paypal fraud, I think it is very important that our customers NOT get this "insecure site" warning. Is there anything that I can do to be sure that my customers stop getting this message?????

Hello lizard31,
I have just tested the landing page where your customer would enter their email address from the Checkout button on eBay, and this is a secure page (as indicated by the https:// address, and the padlock icon on the bottom of the page (for Internet Explorer.) You can confirm this yourself by clicking the Checkout button in one of your closed listings. Do you notice any commonality for these users, such as they are AOL users, etc? I'm not sure what is causing this message to appear.
