Just recently having this problem and never had this problem in the 5 years I've listed with AuctionWatch/Vendio. I have 18 pending auctions and usually have 3 or more pics to attach to each auction. The pics that I upload are great and look wonderful, however, when I attach the three images on the listing page, the "first" thumbnail pic after it attaches to the auction listing page looks blurry. It's only the "first" image, never the second or third. When I click on eBay Preview or Quick Preview, and look at the images they're perfect. Why is it then that the attached thumbnail (1st pic only)appears blurry? I have no settings set to compress the images. I've viewed these both in IE and in AOL and it's the same problem. Also, since the first thumbnail picture is always my Gallery Picture, will it be blurred in the eBay gallery photos as well once the auction listed and active?
Given that all of the images you are using currently are only between 20 and 40k each, they actually look really good on my end.
They are a little bit grainy I suppose, but they do not seem distorted or blurry at all.
As far as the "first image" appearing blurry, I believe you mean that one you see up in the upper left hand corner of the page when you first click to view one of your items, correct?
If so, that is the copy of the Vendio image that eBay makes and hosts on their own servers. They resize/compress them to fit into these windows and unfortunately if you use this ipix location option, you do not have control over how they resize/compress the images.

Hi Christopher..on the create an auction page, when you want to attach an image/s, I click manage images and select three images to attach. (All the thumbnails look great on my image page) It seems though, after they attach on the listing page, the first thumbnail image always appears blurry to me..never the second image or third. And this is the same for each of the 18 pending auctions that I have. It seems awfully strange that I've never had this happen before in all the years that I've used AuctionWatch/Vendio. Can you go in and look at one of my pending auctions and see if the "first image thumbnail" on any of my listings, appears blurry to you.
Some of the thumbnail images on this simple create listing page do appear somewhat fuzzy, but they do not preview/eBay preview that way, and will show up on eBay however they appear in your account.
I checked a few of your items, and one of them definately seemed as though the first attached image was more grainy in the quick thumbnail preview than the others, but that was just the image in question. I saved a test item in your account to view, and you can note that this same image attached as the 2nd/3rd and 4th image appears exactly the same was as it did in the #1 spot.

Thanks Christopher. I'm assuming then that I shouldn't have any problem with any of the images, including Gallery images, once they're launched to eBay and become active listings.
